ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Mike Saville, Vice Chair Patty Smith, Alderman Carl Franco, Alderman-At-Large Sherman Jenkins and Alderman-At-Large Ron Woerman APPROVAL OF MINUTES 21-0494 Approval of the minutes from the BZE Committee Meeting held on June 23, 2021. A motion was made by Alderman-At-Large Jenkins, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Building, Zoning, and Economic Meeting Minutes - Final July 14, 2021 Development Committee 21-0505 A Resolution rejecting previous bids for the installation of approximately 1,800 L.F. of security fencing at the Aurora Municipal Airport and accept the proposal from F. H. Paschen under the Job Order Contracting Program in the not-to-exceed amount of $85,595. A motion was made by Alderman-At-Large Jenkins, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0511 A Resolution Resolution to Approve a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Aurora and JH Real Estate Partners LLC regarding Public Art A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman-At-Large Jenkins, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0512 A Resolution Resolution to Approve Burlington Northern Right of Entry for City of Aurora Public Art Mural at Viaduct Wall along E New York St. A motion was made by Alderman-At-Large Jenkins, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 BUILDING, ZONING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT RESOLUTIONS 21-0495 A Resolution Approving a Final Plan on Lot 2 of Kirkland Crossing, Located at 2903 Kirk Road for a Car Wash, Single Bay (2832) Use . A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried.
