Please contact the Aldermen’s Office at (630) 256-3020 with questions. CALL TO ORDER Chairman Saville called the meeting to order at 4:02pm. ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Mike Saville, Vice Chair Patty Smith, Alderman Carl Franco, Alderman Sherman Jenkins and Alderman Ron Woerman APPROVAL OF MINUTES 22-0209 Approval of the minutes from the Building, Zoning and Economic Development Committee meeting held on March 9, 2022 . A motion was made by Alderman Jenkins, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT Rick Lawrence spoke in opposition of 22-0194 and 22-0196 AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Building, Zoning, and Economic Meeting Minutes - Final April 13, 2022 Development Committee 22-0125 An Ordinance Establishing a Conditional Use Planned Development, Approving the The Mews at Orchard Lake Plan Description and amending Chapter 49 of the Code of Ordinances, City of Aurora, by modifying the zoning map attached thereto to an underlying zoning of R-4A Two Family Dwelling District for the property located at the southwest corner of Independence Drive and Constitution Drive A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0126 A Resolution Approving a Preliminary Plan and Plat for Lot 1 and 2 of the Mews at Orchard Lake Subdivision, on vacant land located at the southwest corner of Independence Drive and Constitution Drive . A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0194 An Ordinance Establishing a Conditional Use Planned Development, Approving the Northern Lights Development Corporation Plan Description and amending Chapter 49 of the Code of Ordinances, City of Aurora, by modifying the zoning map attached thereto to an underlying zoning of R-4A Two-Family Dwelling District and O Office District for the property located at 1449 Jericho Circle A motion was made by Alderman Jenkins, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0196 A Resolution Approving a Preliminary Plan and Plat for Fourteen Forty Nine Senior Estates Subdivision located at 1449 Jericho Circle A motion was made by Alderman Jenkins, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0245 An Ordinance Vacating a Stormwater Control Easement for the Property Located at 2800 Diehl Road, in DuPage County, Aurora, Illinois, 60502 . A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. The motion carried. Chairman Saville adjourned the meeting at 5:24pm.
