ROLL CALL Present: 4 - Vice Chair Patty Smith, Alderman Javier Bañuelos, Alderwoman Juany Garza and Alderman-At-Large Will White Absent: 1 - Chairperson Mike Saville APPROVAL OF MINUTES 25-0571 Approval of the minutes from the Building, Zoning, and Economic Development Committee meeting held on July 9, 2025 . A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Bañuelos, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Building, Zoning, and Economic Meeting Minutes - Final July 23, 2025 Development Committee 25-0573 A Resolution authorizing the acceptance of a Bid for Tree and Brush Removal by Homer Tree Service, Inc. at the Aurora Municipal Airport in the amount of $63,500 . Steve Andras, City of Aurora-Airport A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman-At-Large White, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 25-0586 A Resolution authorizing the purchase of a salt storage structure from ClearSpan Corporation, through Sourcewell, in the amount of $40,681.56, and associated concrete work for the Aurora Municipal Airport in a total amount not to exceed $60,000.00 . Orchard Road and 1444 N. Orchard Road and establishing Springs at Aurora Subdivision Tracey Vacek-City of Aurora-Planning Eric Prechtel-Rosanova & Whitaker Richard Silverman-Continental Properties A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Bañuelos, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable). The motion carried. Ayes: 4 25-0560 A Resolution Approving a Final Plan on the property located at 1444 N. Orchard Road for a Multi-Family Dwelling (1140) Use Tracey Vacek-City of Aurora-Planning A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman-At-Large White, that this agenda item be forwarded to the Committee of the Whole (Final/Appealable).
