Weisner on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. or immediately following the Committee of the Whole meeting, whichever occurs later, in the City Council Chambers, Aurora City Hall, 44 E. Downer Pl. - 2nd floor, Aurora, Illinois. ROLL CALL The Special City Council Meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. by Mayor Weisner, and the roll was called. Present: 12 - Mayor Tom Weisner, Alderman Tina Bohman, Alderman Juany Garza, Alderman Ted Mesiacos, Alderman Bill Donnell, Alderman John Peters, Alderman Mike Saville, Alderman Scheketa Hart-Burns, Alderman Rick Mervine, Alderman Edward Bugg, Alderman Lynne Johnson and Alderman Richard Irvin Absent: 1 - Alderman Bob O'Connor APPOINTMENT OF SERGEANT-AT-ARMS A motion was made by Alderman Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman Irvin to appoint Ofc. Grommes as Sergeant-at-Arms for this meeting. The motion carried by a voice vote. NEW BUSINESS A motion was made by Alderman Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman Irvin, to Suspend the Rules and consider New Business. The motion carried.
