Mayor Irvin arrived to the meeting at 6:18 P.M. A motion was made by Alderman Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman Franco, that the minutes from the June 13, 2017 meeting be approved and filed. The motion carried by voice vote. APPOINTMENT OF SERGEANT-AT-ARMS A motion was made by Alderman Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman Bohman, to appoint Officer Hester as Sergeant-at-Arms for this meeting. Enactment No: R17-201 17-00527 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 2 Article II of the Aurora Code of Ordinances Entitled, "Administration" (Mayoral Transportation Expenses). This Ordinance was adopted. Enactment No: O17-039 UNFINISHED BUSINESS A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Saville to remove Item 17-00251 from the Consent Agenda and place on Unfinished Business. The motion passed by a voice vote. As a result of the discussion, a question was raised for response by Interim Corporation Counsel, Dennis Walsh to look into who should be responsible for ensuring that the appropriate food and beverage tax be paid to the City of Aurora when food and beverage vendors are present at events in the City of Aurora.
