ROLL CALL Members present: Kim Bright, Rajesh Char, Ginger Ingram, , Lily Rocha, Curtis Wilson (5). Members absent: Timothy Brown, Vincent Gaddis, Jacqueline Gibson, Andrea McMillian (4). OTHERS PRESENT Others present: Lieutenant Bryan Handell, Aurora Police Department; Jeff Anderson, Deputy CIO, I.T.; Clifton Moore, Chief Information Security Officer, I.T.; Denzel Lee, Communications Assistant, Communications; Deb Lang; Assistant Corporation Counsel; Chanel Kassis, Board Secretary. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Approval of the Minutes of the Thursday, July 21, 2022 , Civilian Review Board Meeting. Member Char made a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by Member Rocha. The motion was carried by a roll vote as follows: Ayes: 5 - Kim Bright, Rajesh Char, Ginger Ingram, , Lily Rocha, Curtis Wilson. Nayes: 0. Absent: 4 - Timothy Brown, Vincent Gaddis, Jacqueline Gibson, Andrea McMillian. PUBLIC COMMENT None. OLD BUSINESS I.T. Demo -- Complaints; Compliments Denzel Lee provided an update on the progress of the CRB Complaint Form website. Clifton Moore provided an update on the security issues in regards to data privacy and gathering information to work on streamlining the process. Update (Member Char) Member Char provided an update on a meeting held with I.T. about security issues with submitted web forms and SharePoint access to folders and documents. Clifton Moore provided an update that they created a distribution list for Outlook Email to include all CRB Member's city emails. Report on Outreach Activity - Listening Tour (Member Gibson) Holding over for next meeting. NEW BUSINESS APD Update on Body Cameras Lieutenant Handell gave a PowerPoint presentation on Body Worn Cameras. A request was made to include this PowerPoint presentation and the Lexipol Policy on Body Worn Cameras onto the CRB SharePoint site. Consideration and Adoption of the Board's Recommendations to the Chief of Police Regarding Pending Civilian Complaints Consideration of Draft Report in Case - 2021-0343 Chair Bright requested a correction on the Approval Date on Page 1 and Page 2 to be changed to August 18, 2022; and a correction on Page 1 and Page 2 to erase '(Absent)' after Member Char's name. Member Char made a motion to approve the CRB Recommendation to the Chief in Case 2021-0343 seconded by Member Rocha. The motion was carried by a roll vote as follows: Ayes: 5 - Kim Bright, Rajesh Char, Ginger Ingram, , Lily Rocha, Curtis Wilson. Nayes: 0. Absent: 4 - Timothy Brown, Vincent Gaddis, Jacqueline Gibson, Andrea McMillian. REPORT OF THE CHAIR Holding over for next meeting. The motion was carried by a roll vote as follows: Ayes: 2 - Kim Bright, Rajesh Char. Nayes: 3 - Ginger Ingram, , Lily Rocha, Curtis Wilson. Absent: 4 - Timothy Brown, Vincent Gaddis, Jacqueline Gibson, Andrea McMillian. Election of Vice Chair for 2022-2023 Holding over for next meeting. Member Ingram made a motion to hold the election over for next month's meeting, seconded by Member Rocha. The motion was carried by a roll vote as follows: Ayes: 3 - Ginger Ingram, , Lily Rocha, Curtis Wilson. Nayes: 2 - Kim Bright, Rajesh Char.
