ROLL CALL Members present: Kim Bright, Timothy Brown, Rajesh Char, Ginger Ingram, Andrea McMillian, Curtis Wilson (6). Members absent: Lily Rocha (1). OTHERS PRESENT Others present: Michele Clark, Community Affairs Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Deb Lang, Assistant Corporation Counsel; Nydia Molina, Assistant Corporation Counsel. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Approval of the Minutes of the Thursday, February 16, 2023, Civilian Review Board Meeting. Vice Chair Char made a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by Member Brown. The motion carried by roll call vote as follows: Ayes: 6 - Kim Bright, Timothy Brown, Rajesh Char, Ginger Ingram, Andrea McMillian, Curtis Wilson Nayes: 0. Absent: 1 - Lily Rocha. PUBLIC COMMENT None. REPORT OF THE CHAIR Chair Bright spoke about the quarterly CRB Check-In Meetings with the Mayor and trying to find a date for the Facilitator. Member McMillian made a motion to move in favor of using the Facilitator at a future CRB meeting, seconded by Vice Chair Char. The motion carried by roll call vote as follows: Ayes: 6 - Kim Bright, Timothy Brown, Rajesh Char, Ginger Ingram, Andrea McMillian, Curtis Wilson. Members requested clarification on Cyber Security Course emails. STATUS ON NEW MEMBERS The process of having a new member appointed has begun. The second vacancy is still open. NEW BUSINESS Legal - Closed Session Assistant Corporation Counsel Nydia Molina presented clarification on the document to assist on closed session script. Chair Bright made a motion to hold this agenda item for the next meeting, seconded by Vice Chair Char. The motion carried by roll call vote as follows: Ayes: 4 - Kim Bright, Timothy Brown, Rajesh Char, Andrea McMillian. Nayes: 2 - Ginger Ingram, Curtis Wilson. Absent: 1 - Lily Rocha. OLD BUSINESS Analysis of CRB Review of APD Complaints - 08/2021 - Present Member Wilson made a motion to put together an excel spreadsheet and supply to the teams with column headings - retracts the motion. Member McMillian made a motion to hold over this item to obtain additional items that are being requested by the CRB to add additional areas of review and provide a complete chart with those items and be able to do a complete analysis of the data collected, seconded by Member Wilson. The motion carried by roll call vote as follows: Ayes: 6 - Kim Bright, Timothy Brown, Rajesh Char, Ginger Ingram, Andrea McMillian, Curtis Wilson. Nayes: 0. Absent: 1 - Lily Rocha.
