ROLL CALL Members present: Christopher Bennett, Timothy Brown, Dawn D'Orazio, Ginger Ingram, Andrea McMillian, Curtis Wilson (6). Members absent: Renu Kanakamma (1). OTHERS PRESENT None. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 25-0578 Approval of the Minutes of the Thursday, June 26, 2025, Civilian Review Board Meeting. Vice Chair Brown made a motion to approve the minutes, seconded by Member Ingram. The motion was carried by voice vote. PUBLIC COMMENT None. PRESENTATION / GUEST SPEAKER None. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 25-0160 A review of Aurora Police Department policies in accordance with the CRB ordinance for the CRB to provide written recommendations to the department. Chair Wilson created a table spreadsheet to list the policy numbers (in red) the Civilian Review Board received when the board was initially created and compared them to the current policy numbers. Member McMillian made a motion to review the policies in red and compare them with the current versions, seconded by Member Bennett. The motion was carried by voice vote. Member McMillian made a motion to close the discussion on Policy 321, seconded by Member D'Orazio. The motion was carried by voice vote. Chair Wilson read and discussed Policy 423 with the board. Member D'Orazio made a motion to close the discussion on Policy 423, seconded by Member McMillian. The motion was carried by voice vote. Chair Wilson read and discussed Policy 700 with the board. Vice Chair Brown made a motion to close the discussion on Policy 700, seconded by Member McMillian. The motion was carried by voice vote. Chair Wilson read and discussed Policy 806 with the board. Member Bennett made a motion to close the discussion on Policy 806, seconded by Member D'Orazio. The motion was carried by voice vote. ANNOUNCEMENTS None. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Member D'Orazio, seconded by Member Bennett to adjourn the meeting. The motion carried by voice vote.
