Present 12 - Alderman Kristina "Tina" Bohman, Alderman Juany Garza, Alderman Ted Mesiacos, Alderman Bill Donnell, Alderman John Peters, Alderman Mike Saville, Alderman Scheketa Hart-Burns , Alderman Rick Mervine, Alderman Edward Bugg, Alderman Lynne Johnson, Alderman Richard Irvin, and Alderman Bob O'Connor Absent 1 - Mayor Tom Weisner MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF OCTOBER 21, 2014 14-00922 Approval of the Minutes of the October 21, 2014 Committee of the Whole meeting. Alderman Hart-Burns moved, seconded by Alderman Peters, to approve the minutes of the Committee of the Whole Meeting held on October 21, 2014. Motion carried by voice vote. PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS 14-00647 An Ordinance Granting a Special Use Permit with a Final Plan for a restaurant with a drive-thru on the Property located at 2230 S. Eola Road, Aurora, Illinois, 60503 . Zoning Administrator Ed Sieben, and a representative for the petitioner, spoke briefly about this item and answered some questions from Alderman Bohman. (PLACED ON CONSENT AGENDA) 14-00768 An Ordinance granting a Variance Petition for an oversized garage with a carport located at 822 S. Union Street. Zoning Administrator Ed Sieben, and owner Jose Cepeda, spoke briefly about this item. (PLACED ON CONSENT AGENDA) 14-00820 An Ordinance granting the removal of enclosed parking for property located at 1180 Morton Avenue, Aurora, IL 60506 . Zoning Administrator Ed Sieben, and a representative for the petitioner, spoke briefly about this item. (PLACED ON CONSENT AGENDA) 14-00821 A Resolution Approving the Final Plat and Plan for Unit Three of Lehigh Station Subdivision being Vacant Land located at Station Boulevard and Liberty Street Aurora, Illinois . M/I Homes of Chicago representative Matt Pagoria, and Mr. Todd Roberts with Meritcorp Engineering, spoke about this item, and answered questions from some of the Aldermen. Planning Director Stephane Phifer spoke about the incorporation of certain language into the CC&R's, related to a restriction on rentals. Phifer also addressed questions from Alderman Johnson in regards to the proposed trolley system. (PLACED ON CONSENT AGENDA) 14-00869 A Resolution Approving a Revision to the Final Plan for Unit 1 of Aurora Public Library Subdivision located at 101 S River Street, Aurora, Illinois 60506. Planning Director Stephane Phifer, and Mike Schoppe, with Schoppe Design Associates, spoke about the expansion and enhancements to the original "Memory Garden" proposal at the new Aurora Public Library, and addressed questions from some of the Aldermen.
