Mayor Irvin called the meeting to order at 5:07 P.M. and the roll was called.

Meeting Minutes.
A motion was made by Alderman Jenkins , seconded by Alderman Hart-Burns,
that the minutes be approved and filed. The motion carried by voice vote.

MAYOR’S REPORT
Mayor Irvin spoke regarding the Winter Lights event last week. Fireworks at the event
was sponsored by the Chicago Premium Outlet Mall. He thanked the Broadway
business owners for painting the windows in holiday themes. He also thanked everyone
who participated in and supported the Winter Lights event.

STAFF REPORT
Marty Lyons, Chief Financial Officer, spoke regarding an ordinance that will be
introduced at the November 27, 2018 City Council meeting to begin the creation of TIF
9.
18-1000 P Ticket Update
John Curley, Chief Development Officer, spoke regarding P-Tickets. Anna Payton,
Animal Control Manager, and Kelvin Beene, Property Standards Manager spoke
regarding the use of the P-Tickets for the Animal Control and Property Standards
divisions.
