ROLL CALL Present: 3 - Chairperson Bob O'Connor, Alderman Tina Bohman and Alderman Rick Mervine OTHERS PRESENT Steven Lord, Jim Schweizer City of Aurora: Liesje Howard, Mayor's Office; Jolene Coulter, Purchasing; Stacey Hamling, Budget; Jim Dahl, MIS; Brian Caputo, Finance; Carie Anne Ergo, Mayor's Office; Alderman Donnell, Ward 4; Sandra Strueber, Aldermen's Office APPROVAL OF MINUTES 15-00941 Approval of the 10/13/2015 finance meeting minutes. A motion was made by Alderman Mervine, seconded by Alderman Bohman, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 AGENDA 15-00877 A Resolution authorizing the purchase of Panasonic semi-rugged laptops and related hardware and software for the Aurora Police Department in the amount not to exceed $525,000 from CDS Office Technologies of Itasca, Illinois and related vendors. A motion was made by Alderman Mervine, seconded by Alderman Bohman, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. City of Aurora Page 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes October 27, 2015 Ayes: 3 15-00922 A Resolution entering into an agreement with Advent Systems, Inc. to add security cameras at the North end of the Lincoln Avenue parking lot and pedestrian tunnel in the amount of $33,568.00. A motion was made by Alderman Mervine, seconded by Alderman Bohman, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 15-00935 A Resolution Amending resolution R13-263 with Crowe Horwath, LLP, Oak Brook Illinois for an additional amount of $65,000.00 for the Technical Services and MIS Divisions. A motion was made by Alderman Mervine, seconded by Alderman Bohman, that this agenda item be forwarded with no recommendation to the Committee of the Whole. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 15-00964 Introduction to the 2016 City of Aurora Budget. The reports/studies were discussed and filed. ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Alderman Bohman, seconded by Alderman Mervine, that the meeting be adjourned. Chairman O'Connor adjourned the meeting at 4:26 PM. The motion carried.
