A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Chairperson O'Connor, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 2 Abstain: 1 City of Aurora Page 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Final July 10, 2018 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA 18-0558 A Resolution to purchase two Bobcat Toolcats from Atlas Bobcat from the NJPA Contract #042815-CEC for the RT 59 Transit Center and Central Services in the amount of $125,212.00 . A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Alt - Alderman Mervine, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 18-0560 A Resolution Authorizing Execution of Labor Agreement between the City of Aurora and Local 461 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, AFL/CIO. A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Chairperson O'Connor, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 2 Nayes: 1 18-0561 A Resolution designating Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. birthday as a paid holiday for City of Aurora employees . A motion was made by Alt - Alderman Mervine, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 ADDITIONAL ITEM 18-0593 Extension of a contract with Melrose Pyrotechnics for the Independence Day Fireworks Display for Special Events in the Amount of $40,000 for 2019 and 2020. This extension will reduce the rescheduling cost for the 2018 display by $10,000 from $16,000 to $6,000 per the current agreement. . This Reports/Studies was forwarded with no recommendation to the Committee of the Whole ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Alt - Alderman Mervine, that this meeting be adjourned.
