APPROVAL OF MINUTES 18-1160 Approval of the minutes from the Finance Committee meeting on December 18, 2018. A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 PUBLIC COMMENT City of Aurora Page 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Final January 8, 2019 AGENDA 18-1066 A Resolution to Approve the Contract from Dinges Fire Company for the Purchase of Protective Gear for the Fire Department 2019. A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 18-1110 A Resolution Authorizing Amita Health Saint Joseph Hospital-Elgin Employee Assistance Program(EAP) from January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2021. A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 18-1167 A Resolution to authorize the Director of Purchasing to execute an agreement with Alfred Benesch & Company of 1230 East Diehl Road, Suite 109, Naperville, IL 60563 for the 2019 - 2020 Bridge Inspections and the City Clerk to sign the associated Motor Fuel Tax Appropriation, 19-00326-00-BI. A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 18-1178 A Resolution Requesting Authorization for the Mayor to Execute the Local Agency Agreement for Federal Participation with the State of Illinois, the Director of Purchasing to sign the Phase 3 Construction Engineering Agreement with HR Green, Inc. and to Appropriate the Motor Fuel Tax Funds for East Indian Trail Road Traffic Signal Interconnect and Modernization Project, MFT #18-00322-00-TL. A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 HELD City of Aurora Page 2 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Final January 8, 2019 18-1016 A Resolution for $178,137.00 from NTI National Technologies, 1350 West Washington Street, West Chicago, IL 60185, to extend the City of Aurora’s fiber optic cable plant from the south west side of Diehl Road at Eola Road to the south east side of Diehl Road at Eola Road. The pricing is based on Kane County Bid 23-018 Fiber Optic Support Services awarded on June 12, 2018 . A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be held. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Chairperson O'Connor, that this meeting be adjourned. Chairman O'Connor adjourned the meeting at 4:44pm. The motion carried.
