Please contact the Aldermen’s Office at (630) 256-3020 with questions. CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Franco called the meeting to order at 3:07pm. A motion was made by Alderman Jenkins and seconded by Alderwoman Hart-Burns to allow Alderman Bugg to participate in this meeting remotely per section 2-80 based on a reasonable anticipation of an extended illness. The motion carried by voice vote. ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Carl Franco, Vice Chair Sherman Jenkins, Alderwoman Shweta Baid, Alderman Edward Bugg and Alderwoman Scheketa Hart-Burns APPROVAL OF MINUTES 22-0081 Approval of the minutes of the Finance Committee meeting held on January 27, 2022 . A motion was made by Alderwoman Hart-Burns, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Final February 10, 2022 22-0106 A Resolution to purchase a 3-year subscription of the Appian's Workforce Safety and Readiness (WSR) solution from Allwyn Corporation, Herndon, VA, for $135,809.28 and to amend the 2022 budget by adding $46,800 to line 287-1280-419.45-02 . A motion was made by Alderwoman Hart-Burns, seconded by Vice Chair Jenkins, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0038 An Ordinance Reserving 2022 Volume Cap in connection with Private Activity Bond Issues, and Related Matters . A motion was made by Alderwoman Hart-Burns, seconded by Vice Chair Jenkins, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0062 A Resolution authorizing the City of Aurora Police Department to enter a contract with ShotSpotter, Inc. for the installation and set-up of the necessary equipment for a gunshot detection system, and for a three-year service agreement. A motion was made by Alderwoman Hart-Burns, seconded by Vice Chair Jenkins, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 22-0064 A Resolution authorizing the City of Aurora Police Department to enter a contract with Forensic Technology, Inc. for a five-year warranty on the National Integrated Ballistics Information Network (NIBIN) that is housed at the Aurora Police Department. A motion was made by Alderwoman Hart-Burns, seconded by Vice Chair Jenkins, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.
