ROLL CALL Present: 4 - Chairperson Carl Franco, Vice Chair Sherman Jenkins, Alderwoman Shweta Baid and Alderman Edward Bugg Absent: 1 - Alderwoman Scheketa Hart-Burns APPROVAL OF MINUTES 23-0241 Approval of the minutes of the Finance Committee meeting held on March 16, 2023. A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Vice Chair Jenkins, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Final March 30, 2023 23-0188 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Contract with SiteMed for Providing On-Site Firefighter Medical Examinations and Other Services through December 31, 2024 . Alisia Lewis, Human Resources A motion was made by Vice Chair Jenkins, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 23-0106 A Resolution authorizing the disbursement of American Rescue Plan Act funds in a combined amount not to exceed $500,000 to the APS Training Institute, Inc. and TinkrWorks, Inc. for the provision of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics educational programming to Aurora children. Mike Pegues, CIO Alderman Jenkins recused himself and left the room during the discussion and vote on this item. A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderman Bugg, seconded by Alderwoman Baid, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Franco adjourned the meeting at 3.16 PM.
