ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Javier Bañuelos, Edward Bugg, Carl Franco, Shweta Baid and Keith Larson APPROVAL OF MINUTES 25-0361 Approval of the minutes from the Finance Committee Meeting held on April 24, 2025. A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Vice Chair Bugg, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA 25-0292 An Ordinance Amending The Annual Budget For The Fiscal Year Beginning January 1, 2024 and Ending December 31, 2024 (Amendment #3 For The 2024 Fiscal Year). A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Larson, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 City of Aurora Page 1 Finance Committee Meeting Minutes - Final May 15, 2025 25-0258 A Resolution to award a contract to Builders Paving, LLC in the amount of $5,873,168.00, and to appropriate $3,500,000.00 of MFT Funds for the 2025 Citywide Street Resurfacing-EAST project . A motion was made by Vice Chair Bugg, seconded by Alderwoman Baid, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 25-0359 A Resolution authorizing the purchase of one replacement Ford Hybrid Utility Police Interceptor from Currie Motors for $52,488.00. This Resolution was recommended for approval 25-0378 A Resolution authorizing the Director of Purchasing to enter into a purchase agreement with Five Eight Group for the procurement of a drive test scanner for the Aurora Police Department, in a total amount not to exceed $170,000 . A motion was made by Vice Chair Bugg, seconded by Alderwoman Baid, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 25-0393 A Resolution approving the IDOT low bid award for Construction for the North Aurora Road Underpass at the CN Railroad . A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Vice Chair Bugg, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 25-0419 A Resolution authorizing the payment of a grant construction payment to VNA Health Care in the amount $500,000 to defray the capital costs of the construction of the Weston Ave Primary Care Center. This Resolution was held CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Banuelos, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried.
