CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Garza called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Juany Garza, Vice Chair Ted Mesiacos, Alderman John Laesch, Alderman Mike Saville and Alderman Emmanuel Llamas APPROVAL OF MINUTES 23-0378 Approval of the minutes from the Infrastructure and Technology Committee meeting held on May 8, 2023 . A motion was made by Vice Chair Mesiacos, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that these minutes item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Infrastructure and Technology Meeting Minutes - Final May 22, 2023 Committee 23-0391 A Resolution authorizing the Director of Purchasing to execute a contract with Duke's Root Control, Inc., Elgin, IL in the amount of $96,000 .00 for sanitary sewer smoke testing in Wards 2, 3 and 4. John Hoffman and Jason Bauer, Engineering - City of Aurora, presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderman Laesch, seconded by Vice Chair Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 23-0394 A Resolution authorizing the Director of Purchasing to execute a contract with MBE Fence, Warrenville, IL in the amount of $257,700 to install new fencing at RiverEdge Park in Ward 1. Jason Bauer, Engineering - City of Aurora, presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderman Laesch, seconded by Vice Chair Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderman Saville, seconded by Alderman Llamas, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried.
