A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Lofchie, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT City of Aurora Page 1 Public Health, Safety, and Meeting Minutes - Final January 14, 2020 Transportation Committee AGENDA 19-1154 A Resolution authorizing the purchase of One (1) 2020 Wheeled Coach Ford F-550 4x4 diesel type 1 ambulance from Fire Service Inc., St. John, Indiana In the amount of $292 ,826.00 for the Aurora Fire Department .. A motion was made by Alderman Lofchie, seconded by Vice Chair Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 20-0004 A Resolution approving a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Aurora, through the Aurora Police Department, and Family Service Association of Greater Elgin Area regarding a police social worker, employed by FSA, to provide social work services to residents of the City of Aurora.. A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Lofchie, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 20-0010 A Resolution authorizing approval of the 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan, 2020 Annual Action Plan, update to the Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Area, and Annual Action Plan Substantial Amendment (2019-#3) A motion was made by Vice Chair Smith, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Alderman Lofchie, that this meeting be adjourned. Chairperson Hart-Burns adjourned the meeting at 4:22pm. The motion carried.
