ROLL CALL Present: 4 - Chairperson Scheketa Hart-Burns, Vice Chair Bill Donnell, Alderman Ted Mesiacos and Alderman Mike Saville Absent: 1 - Alderwoman Juany Garza APPROVAL OF MINUTES 21-0489 Approval of the minutes from the Public Health, Safety and Transportation Committee meeting held on June 22, 2021. A motion was made by Alderman Saville, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that the minutes be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Public Health, Safety, and Meeting Minutes - Final July 13, 2021 Transportation Committee 21-0491 A Resolution establishing the maximum number of Class B: On-Site Consumption liquor licenses (unofficially related to the application from Hill Investment Group, LLC d/b/a Umai at 4416 E New York St., Aurora). [Ward 10] A motion was made by Alderman Saville, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 21-0492 A Resolution establishing the maximum number of Class C: Specialty On-Site Consumption liquor licenses (unofficially related to the application from Planet Fun Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a Galaxi Fun Zone at 301 S Rte 59, Aurora). [Ward 10] A motion was made by Vice Chair Donnell, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 21-0501 A Resolution establishing the maximum number of Class B: On-Site Consumption City of Aurora liquor licenses ( unofficially related to application from: Aurora Athletic Club, d/b/a Aurora Athletic Club, 550 Clearwater Dr., North Aurora, 60542). [Ward 1] A motion was made by Alderman Saville, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 21-0520 Charitable Solicitation Application for Knights of Columbus Council 12005 Tootsie Roll Drive on September 17, 2021 and September 18, 2021. This Information/Discussion Only was forwarded as information only 21-0524 Overview of upcoming Rules, Administration & Procedures Committee Meeting item. This Reports/Studies was discussed and filed CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Alderman Mesiacos, seconded by Vice Chair Donnell, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried.
