CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Saville called the meeting to order at 4:02 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: 4 - Chairperson Mike Saville, Vice Chair Bill Donnell, Alderwoman Juany Garza and Alderman John Laesch Absent: 1 - Alderman Ted Mesiacos APPROVAL OF MINUTES 25-0138 Approval of the minutes from the Public Health, Safety, and Transportation Committee meeting held on February 11, 2025. A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Vice Chair Donnell, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Public Health, Safety, and Meeting Minutes - Final February 25, 2025 Transportation Committee 25-0072 A Resolution Authorizing Approval of the 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan, Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Area Amendment, 2025 Annual Action Plan, and Substantial Amendment 2025-#1 Chris Ragona, Director of Community Service - City of Aurora presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Vice Chair Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 25-0075 A Resolution Approving the 2025 Quality of Life Grants in the Amount of $910,773. Chris Ragona, Director of Community Service - City of Aurora presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Vice Chair Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 25-0161 A Resolution establishing the maximum number of licenses for tattoo and body art establishments in accordance with Chapter 25, Article XI "Tattoo and Body Art Establishments". Lisa Zepeda, Manager of Revenue & Collections - City of Aurora presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.
