CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Saville called the meeting to order at 3:34 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: 2 - Vice Chair Bill Donnell and Alderman John Laesch APPROVAL OF MINUTES 25-0356 Approval of the minutes from the Public Health, Safety, and Transportation Committee held on April 22, 2025 . A motion was made by Alderman Laesch, seconded by Alderwoman Garza, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Public Health, Safety, and Meeting Minutes - Final May 13, 2025 Transportation Committee 25-0327 A Resolution maintaining the maximum number of Class D: Downtown Core On-Site Consumption liquor licenses (unofficially related to the application from French 75 Gallery and Lounge, Inc.). [Ward 2] Jennifer Stallings, City Clerk and Braden Smith, Owner of French 75 presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderman Laesch, seconded by Alderwoman Garza, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 25-0369 A Resolution authorizing the Director of Purchasing to enter into a purchase agreement with Axon Enterprises, Inc. for the procurement of squad car cameras and related equipment for the Aurora Police Department, for a total amount not to exceed $99,664.08 . Lt. Bill Rowley, APD presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Laesch, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 25-0389 A Resolution establishing the maximum number of Class B: Onsite Consumption liquor licenses, (unofficially related to the application from GJM Pizza LLC d/b/a Ach-N-Lou's Pizza Pub Inc. at 1592 N Farnsworth). [Ward 1] Jennifer Stallings, City Clerk and Gary Miller & John Moda, Owners of GJM Pizza LLC presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderwoman Garza, seconded by Alderman Mesiacos, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 25-0390 A Resolution establishing the maximum number of Class D: Fox Valley Entertainment District licenses, with Self-Service , Strolling and Package Sales Endorsements, (unofficially related to the application from Fox Taps, LLC d/b/a Tapville - Drink While You Shop - Fox Valley Mall, 195 Fox Valley Center Dr. 14 E). [Ward 10] Socorro Flores, Deputy City Clerk and Jennifer Nickels, Franchisee of Tapville presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderman Laesch, seconded by Vice Chair Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.
