Please contact the Aldermen’s office at (630) 256-3020 with questions. CALL TO ORDER: Chairperson Bugg called the meeting to order at 2:33 pm. ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Edward Bugg, Vice Chair Ron Woerman, Alderman Bill Donnell, Alderman Carl Franco and Alderman Emmanuel Llamas APPROVAL OF MINUTES 21-0571 Approval of the minutes from the Rules, Administration and Procedures Committee meeting held on July 20, 2021 . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Woerman, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Rules, Administration, and Meeting Minutes - Final August 3, 2021 Procedure 21-0592 An Ordinance amending Article 2-VI-5 to Codify Aurora's Technical Boards and Commissions by adding sections 2-540 (Building Code of Appeals), 2-545 (Electrical Commission), 2-550 (Fire Code Board of Appeals), 2-555 (Permanent Building and Fire Code Committee) and 2-560 (Permanent Housing Code Committee). A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Llamas, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0598 An Ordinance amending various provisions of Division 2-V-2 of Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances pertaining to purchases . A motion was made by Alderman Donnell, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0543 A Resolution to approve the City of Aurora Aldermen to attend the Annual IML Conference. A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0593 A Resolution Approving the Appointments of the Members of the city's Administrative Boards including the Civil Service Commission; Fox Walk Overlay District Design Review Committee; Human Relations Commission; and Preservation Commission. A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Llamas, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Llamas, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Bugg adjourned the meeting at 3:09.
