Please contact the Aldermen’s office at (630) 256-3020 with questions. CALL TO ORDER: Chairperson Bugg called the meeting to order at 3:12PM. ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Edward Bugg, Vice Chair Ron Woerman, Alderman Bill Donnell, Alderman Carl Franco and Alderman Emmanuel Llamas APPROVAL OF MINUTES 21-0712 Approval of the minutes from the Rules, Administration and Procedures Committee meeting held on September 7, 2021 . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Donnell, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA 21-0729 A Resolution approving the appointments of the members to the Block Grant Working Committee. A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Vice Chair Woerman, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. City of Aurora Page 1 Rules, Administration, and Meeting Minutes - Final September 21, 2021 Procedure Ayes: 5 21-0743 A Resolution Approving the Appointment of Ansar Kazmi a ward 9 resident to the city's Veterans Advisory Council . A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Llamas, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0744 A Resolution approving the appointments of members to the city's Human Relations Commission. A motion was made by Alderman Donnell, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0753 An Ordinance amending various provisions of the Code of Ordinances, City of Aurora, pertaining to the unlawful sale, possession, and use of fireworks. A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Llamas, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 21-0720 Discussion of the role of the Rules, Administration and Procedures Committee vis-à-vis the role of the former Office Committee . This Information/Discussion Only was discussed and filed 21-0740 An update regarding the proposed changes to the sign ordinance, Chapter 41, Signs, of the Code of Ordinances. This Information/Discussion Only was discussed and filed CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT: A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderman Llamas, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Bugg adjourned the meeting at 4:46PM.
