ROLL CALL Present: 5 - Chairperson Ron Woerman, Vice Chair Emmanuel Llamas, Alderman Edward Bugg, Alderman Carl Franco and Alderwoman Patty Smith APPROVAL OF MINUTES 24-0311 Approval of the minutes from the Rules, Administration and Procedure Committee meeting held on April 16, 2024 . A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Rules, Administration, and Meeting Minutes - Final May 21, 2024 Procedure 24-0372 A Resolution approving the appointment of Mayte Acosta, Lincoln Majersky, and Harshitha Chanda to the Aurora Youth Council. Presented By: Sylvia Vargas, Mayor's Office A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 24-0374 A Resolution approving appointment of Gerald Paulson to the Aurora Veteran's Advisory Council (AVAC) . Presented By: Sylvia Vargas, Mayor's Office A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 24-0380 A Resolution approving the appointment of Jean Hess, Emily Hinton, and Gabriela Gaytan to the city's Advisory Commission for Disabilities. Presented By: Sylvia Vargas, Mayor's Office A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 24-0388 A Resolution authorizing appointment of Jazmine Garcia to the FoxWalk Overlay District Design Review Committee . Presented By: Sylvia Vargas, Mayor's Office A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Chairperson Woerman recused himself from this item at 3:08pm. Ayes: 4 Abstain: 1 24-0387 Revised Aldermen's Office Policies . This item was discussed and filed. This item was discussed. A motion was made by Alderman Franco, seconded by Alderwoman Smith, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Woerman adjourned the meeting at 3:34pm.
