CALL TO ORDER RAP Committee Clerk Mason Brauer called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith to nominate Alderman Franco as Temporary RAP Co-Chairman, Alderman Bugg seconded the motion, vote was 3-0. ROLL CALL Present: 3 - Alderman Edward Bugg, Vice Chair Carl Franco and Alderwoman Patty Smith Absent: 1 - Chairperson Ron Woerman APPROVAL OF MINUTES 24-0549 Approval of the minutes from the Rules, Administration, and Procedure Committee meeting held on July 16, 2024. A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA City of Aurora Page 1 Rules, Administration, and Meeting Minutes - Final August 20, 2024 Procedure 24-0579 A Resolution authorizing the reappointment of Andrea Rios McMillian to the Civilian Review Board. Alexandra Voigt, Deputy Chief of Staff - Mayors Office, presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 24-0618 A Resolution approving the appointment of Michael Smith to the Aurora Education Commission. Alexandra Voigt, Deputy Chief of Staff - Mayors Office, presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 3 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried.
