Chairperson Woerman called the meeting to order at 3:01 p.m.

Present: 5 - Chairperson Ron Woerman, Vice Chair Carl Franco, Alderman Edward
Bugg, Alderman Dan Barreiro and Alderwoman Patty Smith
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
24-1002 Approval of the minutes from Rules, Administration, and Procedure
Committee meeting held on December 17, 2024 .
A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Barreiro,
that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried.

24-0827 A Resolution approving the reappointments of Gousia Wajid, Srivani
Vokkarane, and Sharon Garcia to the Indian American Community
Outreach Advisory Board.

24-0977 A Resolution approving the appointment of Glenda Love and the
reappointments of Sumera Galvez, Maureen McKane, Penelope
Garcia, and Luanne Lo Monte to the Human Relations Commission.
Alex Voigt - Deputy Chief of Staff, Mayors Office - City of Aurora presented and
answered questions regarding this item.
A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Barreiro,
that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

24-1013 A Resolution To Endorse the Legislative Action Program of the
DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference for the 2025 Legislative
Session.
A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Vice Chair Franco,
that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried.

24-1014 Overview of upcoming ordinance amendments related to Business
Registration.
Alex Voigt - Deputy Chief of Staff, Mayors Office - City of Aurora presented and
answered questions regarding this item.

24-1015 Discussion regarding changes to the Aldermanic Initiative Funds
Ordinance.
Rick Veenstra, Corporation Counsel - City of Aurora presented and answered
questions regarding this item.

The following item was walked on after 24-1014 by Jolene Coulter, Director of
Purchasing, Finance Department.
25-0023 - An ordinance amending various sections of Division 2-V-2 of Chapter
2 of the Code of Ordinances pertaining to purchases.
This item was discussed.
A motion was made by Vice Chair Franco, seconded by Alderwoman Smith,
that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Woerman
adjourned the meeting at 3:54 p.m.
