12.c. The City Council may adjourn into closed session pursuant to §19.85(1)(e), Wis. Stats. for
the purposes of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the
investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever
competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session; namely, to discuss the
following; (a) an Intergovernmental Agreement between the Town of Beloit and the City of
Beloit regarding cost sharing in Fire Department training, Battalion Chief Services, and
Additional Ambulance Operations and (b) the potential purchase of land identified as parcel
no. 6-19-363A on the 4000 block of E. Colley Road. The Council may reconvene into
Open Session for possible action regarding a/the matter(s) discussed in closed session.
