Call to Order/Pledge of Allegiance/Roll Call Meeting called to order by Lena Erickson at 5:41 PM. Approval of Minutes from December 17, 2025 Lena Erickson motioned to approve the minutes from the December 17, 2025, BYC meeting, Scylee Groseth seconded. Approved unanimously. 3. Team-Building Activity The team-building activity featured a Kahoot trivia game about Buckeye City Council members that expanded participants’ knowledge of local government. The activity promoted teamwork, communication, and civic awareness through friendly competition. 4. Meet in Committee Groups Civic engagement: The team shared an update on the project, noting that donation boxes have been placed at locations such as Anthem, City Hall, the Coyote Library, and the Downtown Library, with plans to expand to additional sites. They also discussed hosting a booth at the Compassion Clinic on March 28th at Buckeye Elementary, where organized hygiene bags will be distributed to community members. Community Outreach: The team worked together to plan a booth for the Spring Celebration, collaborating to finalize details and create engaging activities such as carnival games and arts and crafts. Through this process, they focused on designing a fun and welcoming space that would attract attendees while practicing creativity, teamwork, and communication skills. 5. Upcoming Volunteer Events Alexa Mercado Garay shared the volunteer opportunity tracking sheet with the Youth Council and discussed upcoming events. 6.
