VOTING: unanimous [Councilor Paul not present for vote]; motion carried. 2.0 PUBLIC FORUM There were no comments from the public. 3.0 FOR BCDC ACTION 3.01 BCDC Property on Sears Lane for Champlain Parkway Construction Staging – DPW Councilor Bushor asked about language to ensure the land is returned to the way it was found. Mayor Weinberger said the city will likely have such language in the contract with the developer. DPW Director Spencer added the language will say Page 2 of 3  Burlington Community Development Corporation - Special Meeting - Monday, April 29, 2019 at 5:30 PM, Conference Room 12, City Hall 4/29/2019 the land will be restored to the way it was or better. Councilor Pine asked about future plans for the site. Assistant City Attorney Haesler said the property must be used for transportation purposes though there certainly is a higher or better use for the acreage. MOTION by Councilor Pine, SECOND by Council President Wright, to approve the resolution authorizing use of the BCDC property on Sears Lane for the Champlain Parkway construction staging area. VOTING: unanimous; motion carried. 4.0 ADJOURNMENT With no further business and without objection the meeting was adjourned at 5:43 PM. RScty: MERiordan Page 3 of 3
