1. Announcements and Updates (10 min)
2. Overview of 2026 Projects (30 min)
DPW will present on what’s planned for walk/bike projects in 2026. The focus will be
on current status and the next construction season.
3. “Block Party Designation” proposal (15 min)
We will discuss the progress on the Block Party Designation letter and discuss
operational considerations with DPW.
4. 2026 Candidate Survey Review (35 min)
We will discuss and review the candidate survey that will get sent out for the 2026
election season. We’ll confirm that the drafted questions cover our necessary
Previous Meeting – At our December 3rd, we discussed a Block Party designation letter to send to
the city council and gave an overview of 2026 traffic calming & repaving projects.
Next Month: BWBC meets Wednesday, February 12th, 2026, 5:30 – 7:00 pm. It will be a joint meeting with South
Burlington’s Bicycle & Pedestrian Committee at 180 Market Street.
The BWBC is an all-volunteer advisory council to the City of Burlington. We work closely with and advise the Department of
Public Works and the Department of Parks, Recreation, & Waterfront on infrastructure improvements and policy changes for
walking and bicycling. The council also leads advocacy efforts and organizes events and activities that promote and
