Present: Gale Batsimm, Sally Blanchard-O’Brien, Jonathan Chapple-Sokol, Emily Copeland, Mary Danko, Chol
Dhoor, Samantha Donalds, Patrick Halladay, Cate MacLachlan, Grace Maley, Nick Tatakis, Rebecca Thompson,
Mona Tolba.
Absent: Sam Doherty, Amy Mellencamp
Approval of minutes: from January 15. Samantha Donalds moved, Becca Thompson seconded, approved.
Approval of agenda: Patrick Halladay moved, Nick Tatakis seconded, approved.
Public Forum: No public in attendance.
Friends of FFL Report:.
• Friends 5-day book sale first week of April.
• Friends have paused book donations until the preservation work on Carnegie building is completed.
Director’s Report:
• Following CEDO, accessing Propio for live translation services.
• Federal grants for historic preservation moving forward.
Teen Department Update: Miriasha provided update on Teen Space
Subcommittee update:
• Strategic Planning: will send out draft Strategic Directions for review.
• Policy Planning: reviewing social media policy.
• Recruitment: will follow up with commissioners/trustees with terms ending in June.
New/Other Business: Next meeting is Wednesday, May 14 (SECOND Wednesday of May), 7:45am
Adjournment: Becca Thompson moved, Chol Dhoor seconded. Approved.
