FFL Commission Policy Subcommittee Minutes (2/18/26, 8-9am) Present: Nick Tatakis, Sally Blanchard-O'Brien, Sam Donalds, Mary Danko, Barbara Shatara • Call to order 8:07am • Approve 12/10/25 minutes (Motion: Sally, Second: Sam, Approved unanimously) o Adopt agenda (Motion: Sally, Second: Sam, Adopted unanimously) o Public forum (None present) • FFL Social Media Policy o City Attorney responded to Mary Danko: policy looks fine for the most part, but they were curious about the hyperlink in the policy, waiting to hear about removing hyperlink and having the policy otherwise approved o Potential to bring policy to entire commission in March for approval • FFL Art Exhibit and Display Policy o Sam Donalds: borrowed from Missoula and New Haven libraries to create Request Form for Art Removal, group discussion and revision o Considering including an excerpt from American Library Association Freedom to View Statement in the Policy o Plan to review procedures at next policy subcommittee meeting • New business o Next Policy to Address: Tabling Policy o Adjourn (Motion: Sally, Second: Sam, Adopted unanimously.
