AGENDA City Council President Traverse called the meeting to order at 7:21 PM. MOTION by Commissioner Shannon, SECOND by Commissioner Grant, to amend and adopt the agenda as follows: • Add item 1.2: Update on Local Cannabis Control Board VOTING: unanimous; motion carries. 1.2 Update on Local Cannabis Control Board Commissioner Shannon said that the attorney for the State’s Cannabis Control Board attended the Local Cannabis Control Commission meeting and answered questions about the authority of local cannabis control commissions with regards to cannabis. She noted that several state rule changes have been proposed and there is a public hearing on February 20, 2025, for any individuals who wish to attend. 2. CONSENT AGENDA 2.1 Motion to adopt the consent agenda and take the actions indicated 2.2 2024 Cannabis Renewal: Bern Legacy Dispensary (retailer license) and Float On (retailer license) – approve and authorize transmission of local approval of the following local cannabis control license renewals to the State Cannabis Control Board, subject to all municipal conditions currently in effect on such local licenses: Bern Legacy Dispensary (retailer license) and Float On (retailer license). MOTION by Commissioner Shannon, SECOND by Commissioner Grant, to approve the consent agenda and take the actions indicated for items 2.1-2.2. 3. ADJOURNMENT 3.1 Motion to adjourn The meeting adjourned without objection at 7:24 PM.
