Public Forum: • Linda requested that the zoom link be added to the agenda City Councilor Updates: • Mayor Mulvaney-Stanak meeting with new UVM president, relevant to UVM MOU • Recycling motion passed; short term DPW will create plan with recycling workers’ union, medium term DPW will put out RFPQ for contracting out recycling for 3-5 years and develop cost analysis if we kept recycling services public; long term the city will explore comprehensive waste collection of trash, recycling, compost • Budgeting process: reviewing departmental budgets; proposal for 25 staff layoffs including some vacant positions; facing $8M budget gap; merging CEDO with Dept Workforce Development and creation of new Dept of Finance and Administration • Unanimous support of moving forward with overdose prevention center 226 College Street Redevelopment: • Bruce Baker and Hunter Gomez (developers) presented updates on the project at 226 College (old YMCA). Updates and FAQ at ReArch Construction website. Discussed traffic impacts during demolition/construction phase. Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned.
