OLD BUSINESS A) Review and approve Annual Statement, Interrogatories and Audit to be filed with the Illinois Department of Insurance no later than October 30, 2024 (no extensions will be granted by IDOI). Filing must also include copies of Collective Bargaining Agreement, minutes from all meetings, training certificates for all trustees and other required documents. B) Discuss / possible action regarding transfer of contributions to SERS by Brody Jeters. C) Discuss / possible action regarding request by Brian Tapley to calculate the cost to reinstate his pension Contributions to the Carbondale Police Pension Fund. D) Review status of Daniel Rice annual disability review. 9. NEW BUSINESS A) Review and approve annual COLA increases, effective January 1, 2025. B) Discuss IPPFA Regional Seminar in Carterville, Illinois on November 19, 2024. C) Discuss and approve setting of 2025 board meeting dates (suggested meeting dates on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. (1/21; 4/15; 7/15; 10/21)). D) Discuss plans by IPOPIF to begin audits of all downstate police pension funds. E) Discuss Public Act 103-0929 (SB 2918) regarding disability as a cause for discharge.
