In attendance were Council Members Dimple Ajmera, Tariq Bokhari, Ed Driggs, Larken Egleston, Julie Eiselt, LaWana Mayfield, James Mitchell, Matt Newton, Greg Phipps, and Braxton Winston. Council Member Justin Harlow was absent. 1. 15-9223 County Assessor Revaluation Process Kenneth Joyner, Mecklenburg County Tax Assessor provided a presentation regarding the 2019 Revaluation of the City of Charlotte. 2. 15-9224 Gateway Governance Tracy Dodson, Assistant City Manager presented a proposal for a Charlotte Gateway Station Steering Committee to provide clarity to developer partner, efficiency in addressing questions, and ease of decision making to bring back to City Council and NCDOT Board. City Council will be requested to take action at the October 8, 2018 Business meeting. 3. 15-9221 Committee Chair Report-Outs Council Member Mayfield, Chairperson, provided a report for the Housing and Neighborhood Development Committee. Council Member Phipps, Chairperson, provided a report for the Transportation and Planning Committee. Council Member Ajmera, Chairperson, provided a report for the Environment Committee. Council Members Bokahri and Egleston, Co-Chairs, provided a report for the Intergovernmental Relations Committee. Council Member Mitchell, Chairperson, provided a report for the Economic Development Committee. Due to time constrainst, there was no report for the Community Safety Committee. 15-9305 Lake Arbor Apartments Status Update Pam Wideman, Director of Housing and Neighborhood Services provided an update on the status of Lake Arbor Apartments. 4. 15-9222 Closed Session (as necessary) There was no closed session.
