Present: 11 - Mayor Vi Lyles, Mayor Pro Tem Julie Eiselt, Council Member Dimple Ajmera, Council Member Tariq Scott Bokhari, Council Member Ed Driggs, Council Member Larken Egleston, Council Member Justin Harlow, Council Member LaWana Mayfield, Council Member Matt Newton, Council Member Greg Phipps, and Council Member Braxton Winston II Absent: 1- Council Member James Mitchell 1. 15-10651 Affordable Housing Review and Approval Process Pam Wideman, Director of Housing and Neighborhood Services provided an update on the Affordable Housing Review and Approval Process. 2. 15-10652 Aviation Update Brent Cagle, Aviation Director gave an overview of the Aviation Department's FY2020 Budget. Council Member Harlow arrived at 5:17 p.m. 3. 15-10653 Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Update John Lewis, Transit Director, provied an overview of LYNX staff recommendations and an update on the CityLYNX Gold Line. Council Member Eiselt arrived at 6:20 p.m. 4. 15-10654 Solid Waste Update Rodney Jamison, Interim Solid Waste Director, provided an overview of Solid Waste Services' FY2020 Budget. 5. 15-10655 Committee Report Outs Council Member Egleston,Chairperson, provided an update on the work of the Immigrant Community Committee; Council Member Mayfield, Chairperson, had no report for the Housing and Neighborhood Development Committee; Council Member Driggs, Vice-Chairperson, provided a report on the work of the Economic Development Committee; Council Member Eiselt, Chairperson, provided an update on the work of the Transportation and Planning Committee; Council Member Egleston, Co-Chair, provided a report on the work of the Intergovernmental Relations Committee; Council Member Ajmera, Chairperson, provided a report on the work of the Environment Committee; Council Member Harlow, Chairperson, provided a report on the work of the the Community Safety Committee; and, Council Member Phipps, Chairperson, provided a report on the Budget and Effectiveness Committee. Adjournment A motion was made by Council Member Egleston and seconded by Council Member Winston to Adjourn the meeting. The motion carried unanimously.
