Remy, to Dispense with the reading of the Journal and Approve. The motion carried by the following vote: Affirmative: 7- Nicholas Bankston, Lourdes Barroso De Padilla, Mitchell Brown, Rob Dorans, Shayla Favor, Emmanuel Remy, and Shannon Hardin ADDITIONS OR CORRECTIONS TO THE JOURNAL President Hardin stated that the first order of business this evening is to elect a President Pro Tem of Council following the resignation of former President Pro Tem Elizabeth Brown. He opened the floor for nominations for President Pro Tem of Council. Council Member Emmanuel V. Remy moved that Council Member Rob Dorans be appointed President Pro Tem of Columbus City Council. Council President asked if there are any other nominations for President Pro Tem of City Council. There were none. Council President closed the floor for nominations and asked the Clerk to call the roll by voice on the nomination of Rob Dorans. President Hardin congratulated, President Pro Tem Dorans.
