IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS ROLL CALL Present 6 - Hearcel Craig, Zachary Klein, Michelle Mills, Eileen Paley, Priscilla Tyson, and Andrew Ginther READING AND DISPOSAL OF THE JOURNAL A motion was made by Craig, seconded by Tyson, to Dispense with the reading of the Journal and Approve. The motion carried by the following vote: Affirmative: 6- Hearcel Craig, Zachary Klein, Michelle Mills, Eileen Paley, Priscilla Tyson, and Andrew Ginther EMERGENCY, TABLED AND 2ND READING OF 30 DAY LEGISLATION ZONING: ______, CHR. CRAIG KLEIN MILLS PALEY TYSON GINTHER 2165-2014 To rezone 1516 NORTH HIGH STREET (43201), being 7.34± acres located on the east side of North High Street between East Ninth and East Eighth Avenues, and on the south side of East Eighth Avenue between Pearl and Section Alleys (excepting therefrom parcels numbered 010-037288 and 010-003633), From: R-4, Residential, AR-O, Apartment Office, and C-4, Commercial Districts, To: CPD, Commercial Planned Development District and to declare an emergency (Rezoning # Z14-032). A motion was made by Ginther, seconded by Craig, that this Ordinance be Amended to Emergency. The motion carried by the following vote: Affirmative: 6- Hearcel Craig, Zachary Klein, Michelle Mills, Eileen Paley, Priscilla Tyson, and Andrew Ginther A motion was made by Ginther, seconded by Tyson, that this Ordinance be Approved as Amended. The motion carried by the following vote: Affirmative: 6- Hearcel Craig, Zachary Klein, Michelle Mills, Eileen Paley, Priscilla Tyson, and Andrew Ginther 2166-2014 To grant a variance from the provisions of Sections 3356.03 C-4 permitted uses; and 3356.05(C), C-4 District development limitations, of the Columbus City codes; for the property located at 1516 NORTH City of Columbus Page 1 Zoning Committee Minutes - Final October 6, 2014 HIGH STREET (43201), to permit first floor residential and supporting residential uses, and residential uses above certain commercial uses that are otherwise prohibited in the CPD, Commercial Planned Development District and to declare an emergency (Council Variance # CV14-037). A motion was made by Ginther, seconded by Craig, that this Ordinance be Amended to Emergency. The motion carried by the following vote: Affirmative: 6- Hearcel Craig, Zachary Klein, Michelle Mills, Eileen Paley, Priscilla Tyson, and Andrew Ginther A motion was made by Ginther, seconded by Tyson, that this Ordinance be Approved as Amended. The motion carried by the following vote: Affirmative: 6- Hearcel Craig, Zachary Klein, Michelle Mills, Eileen Paley, Priscilla Tyson, and Andrew Ginther 1092-2014 To grant a Variance from the provisions of Section 3332.03, R-1, Residential district, of the Columbus City Codes, for the property located at 7801 OLENTANGY RIVER ROAD (43235), to permit limited C-2, Office Commercial District uses in the R-1, Residential District, and to repeal Ordinance No. 912-84, passed June 4, 1984 (Council Variance # CV14-012). A motion was made by Ginther, seconded by Craig, that this Ordinance be Taken from the Table. The motion carried by the following vote: Affirmative: 6- Hearcel Craig, Zachary Klein, Michelle Mills, Eileen Paley, Priscilla Tyson, and Andrew Ginther A motion was made by Ginther, seconded by Craig, that this Ordinance be Amended as submitted to the Clerk. The motion carried by the following vote: Affirmative: 6- Hearcel Craig, Zachary Klein, Michelle Mills, Eileen Paley, Priscilla Tyson, and Andrew Ginther A motion was made by Ginther, seconded by Craig, that this Ordinance be Approved as Amended.
