ROLL CALL Present 7 - Elizabeth Brown, Mitchell Brown, Rob Dorans, Shayla Favor, Emmanuel Remy, Priscilla Tyson, and Shannon Hardin READING AND DISPOSAL OF THE JOURNAL A motion was made by Rob Dorans, seconded by Elizabeth Brown, to Dispense with the reading of the Journal and Approve. The motion carried by the following vote: Affirmative: 7- Elizabeth Brown, Mitchell Brown, Rob Dorans, Shayla Favor, Emmanuel Remy, Priscilla Tyson, and Shannon Hardin EMERGENCY, TABLED AND 2ND READING OF 30 DAY LEGISLATION ZONING: DORANS, CHR. BANKSTON BARROSO DE PADILLA BROWN FAVOR REMY HARDIN 3372-2021 To rezone 359 FREBIS AVE. (43206), being 0.64± acres located on the south side Frebis Avenue, 500± feet west of Parsons Avenue, From: R-2F, Residential District, To: AR-1, Apartment Residential District (Rezoning #Z21-055). A motion was made by Rob Dorans, seconded by Elizabeth Brown, to Waive the 2nd Reading. The motion carried by the following vote: Affirmative: 7- Elizabeth Brown, Mitchell Brown, Rob Dorans, Shayla Favor, Emmanuel Remy, Priscilla Tyson, and Shannon Hardin A motion was made by Rob Dorans, seconded by Elizabeth Brown, that this Ordinance be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Affirmative: 7- Elizabeth Brown, Mitchell Brown, Rob Dorans, Shayla Favor, Emmanuel Remy, Priscilla Tyson, and Shannon Hardin 3373-2021 To grant a Variance from the provisions of Sections 3333.02, AR-12, ARLD and AR-1, Apartment residential district use; 3312.13, Driveway; 3312.49, Minimum numbers of parking spaces required; 3321.05(A),Vision clearance; 3333.15, Basis of computing area; City of Columbus Page 1 Zoning Committee Minutes - Final January 10, 2022 3333.18, Building lines; and 3333.255, Perimeter yard, of the Columbus City Codes; for the property located at 359 FREBIS AVE. (43206), to permit a multi-unit residential development with reduced development standards in the AR-1, Apartment Residential District (Council Variance #CV21-072). A motion was made by Rob Dorans, seconded by Elizabeth Brown, to Adopt the findings of staff as the findings of Council . The motion carried by the following vote: Affirmative: 7- Elizabeth Brown, Mitchell Brown, Rob Dorans, Shayla Favor, Emmanuel Remy, Priscilla Tyson, and Shannon Hardin A motion was made by Rob Dorans, seconded by Elizabeth Brown, to Waive the 2nd Reading. HIGH ST. (43214), being 2.252.26± acres located at the northeast corner of North High Street and Morse Road, From: R-3, Residential District, C-3, Commercial District, and C-4 Commercial District, To: CPD, Commercial Planned Development District (Rezoning #Z21-059). A motion was made by Rob Dorans, seconded by Elizabeth Brown, that this Ordinance be Taken from the Table. The motion carried by the following vote: Affirmative: 7- Elizabeth Brown, Mitchell Brown, Rob Dorans, Shayla Favor, Emmanuel Remy, Priscilla Tyson, and Shannon Hardin A motion was made by Rob Dorans, seconded by Elizabeth Brown, that this Ordinance be Amended as submitted to the Clerk. The motion carried by the following vote: Affirmative: 7- Elizabeth Brown, Mitchell Brown, Rob Dorans, Shayla Favor, Emmanuel Remy, Priscilla Tyson, and Shannon Hardin A motion was made by Rob Dorans, seconded by Elizabeth Brown, that this Ordinance be Approved.
