EDO Update (Kristi Bartlett) Director Kristi Bartlett provided an update on the city’s economic development. A copy of her presentation was made a part of this summary packet. Discussion ensued. Ms. Bartlett reviewed the business tax requirements and noted that the city’s Business Excellence Awards will open on December 1. She remarked that Tacocraft Coral Springs has become a showcase location for the Tacocraft Taqueria & Tequila Bar brand. 2. Teen Political Forum Discussion (Michael McNally) An overview of the city’s Teen Political Forum (TPF) was provided by Director Michael McNally. New program features and incentives were highlighted. A copy of his presentation was made a part of this summary packet. Discussion ensued. Mr. McNally noted feedback from the Commission.  3. Events Update (Michael McNally) Director Michael McNally reviewed the city events scheduled for the remainder of the 2024 calendar year. Long-Time Resident and Business Framework (Michael McNally) Director Michael McNally outlined the objectives of the city’s Milestone Recognition Program. He also noted the eligibility requirements and discussed the program’s administration. A copy of his presentation was made a part of this summary packet. Commission Communications Consensus was reached to present Shirley Richards, Founder of the Coral Springs Festival of the Arts, with the Key to the City at a future meeting.
