Nimtz, M. Shrikhande, T. Farley, R. Batimana Commissioners Absent: V. Kelly, J. Newton-Butt Staff/Council present: S. VanDeWoestyne Guest(s): N/A Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 4:08 p.m. by M. Shrikhande. Approval of Minutes: T. Farley moved to have the minutes of the November 2021 meeting approved, R. Nimtz seconded. All ayes. New Business: 1. S. VanDeWoestyne shared an update on the current Police Officer recruitment process, with interviews scheduled for the following Friday and Monday. Another police officer process is likely to commence yet again this month. An update on the promotional processes of Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Captain was also shared. 2. S. VanDeWoestyne provided that the civil service residency change to city ordinance was being considered and likely will pass the city council. This commission is very supportive of this change. 3. S. VanDeWoestyne shared an update of other city employment openings. Adjournment T. Farley moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by R. Batimana. All ayes.
