Board of Fire & Police Commissioners MEETING MINUTES November 16, 2015 CALL TO ORDER A special meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners was called to order on November 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fire Chief’s Office at the DeKalb Fire Department, Station 1 by Sam Finch, Chairman. ROLL CALL Present were Commissioners Sam Finch, Amy Polzin and Tony Chulick. Also present were Michelle Anderson, Secretary to the Board and Eric Hicks, Fire Chief. APPROVAL OF AGENDA A motion was made by Polzin to approve the agenda as presented. Seconded by Chulick and approved by voice vote. CONSIDERATIONS NONE OLD BUSINESS NONE NEW BUSINESS NONE APPROVAL OF A REQUEST TO MOVE TO EXECUTIVE SESSION A motion was made by Polzin to move to executive session to conduct oral interviews for Entry Level Firefighter/Paramedic Candidates. Seconded by Chulick and approved by voice vote. The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners moved to Executive Session at 10:02 a.m. A motion was made by Polzin to adjourn Executive Session. Seconded by Finch and approved by voice vote. The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners closed the Executive Session at 10:23 a.m. ANNOUNCEMENTS NONE ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Chulick to adjourn.
