AMENDED At the beginning of its regular meeting, the Mayor reassigned sponsorship of proposed Resolution 2026- 116 to Councilmember Brinn. When the resolution was announced by the Clerk for a vote, Councilmember Moss read a statement in which she proposed that the Council adopt a resolution implementing a moratorium on the issuance of zoning/building permits for data centers and data center accessory structures (Permits) and after further discussion by the Council, Councilmember Brinn made a motion to amend the resolution, seconded by Councilmember Wilson, to provide that the Council implement an eighteen-month moratorium on the issuance of “Permits”; and said motion to amend the proposed resolution being approved by a vote of Councilmembers Moss, Wilson, Brinn, Duffy, and Mayor Mandell in favor of the proposed amendment, Councilmember Cooke being absent, and Councilmember Grasso voting against the amendment, whereupon Council proceeded to vote on the proposed amended resolution with Councilmembers Moss, Wilson, Brinn, Duffy, and Mayor Mandell voting in favor of the amended resolution, Councilmember Cooke 2  being absent, and Councilmember Grasso voting against the amended resolution, thereby the amended resolution was approved.
