Cook, Arts and Culture Director – Parks and Recreation; Alison Jumper, Director- Parks and Recreation; Sarah Dilatush-Marciante Meeting Minutes Call to Order and Roll Call and New Member Introduction (6:00) • The meeting was called to order by Chloe Bell. • Roll call was taken. Na’Tasha Devon, Diana Rubi, and Bevin Baskin were absent. Approval of Meeting Agenda (6:01) • Elizabeth Muscair motioned to approve the agenda, Coleman Warren seconded, approved unanimously Approval April 15 Minutes (6:01) • April 15 minutes were reviewed and unanimously approved following a motion by Chloe Bell Reports and Presentation (6:02) • Sarah presented on the status of the Community Arts Program. Fayetteville Film Fest’s Frantic Film Competition was successful with new teams participating. Spring into Circus was under way with classes continuing in Walker Park on Thursdays. Reports to come for the remaining programs New Business (6:04) • Robert Sharpe presented a spot off the Frisco Trail on the Greenway where a future pocket park will be and looking to place a sculpture and asked arts council about the process of hiring a an artist for the creation of a piece. The Arts Council shared aspects of the process of requesting a piece. Notes from the Field/Opportunities/Current Calls for Artists (6:22) • Movies in the Park to kick off with Spy Kids in Walker Park • Weekend Starts continues in the Upper Ramble • CAP applications open until June 10  • Crystal Bridges expansion opening on June 6 and 7. • New Arts and Culture Director will be at the June meeting Other Business and Public Comment 6:47 • No public was present, and the meeting adjourned 6:47
