New Business Announcements Emerald Ash Borer - Signs and treatments There is work creating signs for several parks. We have three parks that we will try to start treatment for ASAP. Greathouse Park, Walker, and Underwood Parks. We are planning to bulk bid the treatments and start in the spring. We will also subcontract some of the tree removal work for this project. City of Fayetteville, Arkansas Page 2 Urban Forestry Advisory Board Agenda August 6, 2025 • The Fayetteville Community Forestry classes are going well, and we have an average attendance of 30 people per class. The next class is Tree Care on August 9th and August 12th. • EAB, I am bidding for the treatment of 24 trees in Walker Park, Greathouse Park, and Underwood Park. • I am bidding for trees to purchase for the Celebration of Trees, which is on October 11th. • We have an invasive plant removal at Clabber Creek on September 20th. • Adjournment NOTICE TO MEMBERS OF THE AUDIENCE Urban Forestry Advisory Board meetings may be attended in-person or virtually. Community members have the opportunity to address the board at a designated time during the meeting. Citizens may propose items to be included in the board's agenda.
