REGULAR BOARD OF HEALTH, 11:00 a.m., Fishers Municipal Building, Nickel Plate Conference Room.
1. Meeting Called to Order:
• The meeting was called to order at 11:02 a.m. by Scott Fadness. Board members: Steve Orusa, Karen
Collins, Sal Migliore, Shobana Pandian, Kyle Hultgren and Scott Fadness.
• Staff present/Legal: Monica Heltz, Josh Robinson, Laura Gropp, Chris Greisl (via MS Teams), and Kari
Adriano.
• Members of the public were able to submit comments to the Board via form submission. No Public
Comments were submitted.

4. CONSENT AGENDA
4a. Request to review the previous meeting memoranda: Meeting Minutes 8-29-24.
• Steve Orusa made a motion to approve the consent agenda. Kyle Hultgren seconded the
motion. There was no remonstrance and the motion passed 6 in favor, 0 opposed.

2025 Health First Indiana KPIs
Tobacco Prevention & Cessation: Increase the percent of Fishers 7th & 8th graders receiving Catch My
Breath anti-vaping education to 90% by the end of 2026.
Chronic Disease: Decrease the percentage of residents with hypercholesterolemia by 1% by the end of
2027.
Mental Health: Decrease the case rate of death by suicide by 10% by 2027.
Substance Use: Decrease the case rate of deaths by accidental overdose by 10% by 2027.
Immunizations: Increase HPV vaccine completion rates for children ages 13-18 by 3% by the end of
2025.
Maternal Child Health: Decrease the percentage of pregnant women not access prenatal care in the
first trimester from 10.7% to 9.7% by 2027.
Trauma & Injury Prevention: Decrease the repeat fall rate requiring EMS by 10% by the end of 2025.
