Commissioner Meyers
Commissioner Borello
Others in Attendance: Andy Downey, Commander of Operations

Quorum: Yes
Call To Order: Meeting was called to order at 3:35 PM by Commission Chair Taylor.
Public Comments: No comments. Three students from Glenbard West High School
attended.
Approval of Minutes: Special Session Minutes, February 18, 2026, approved by common
consent.
Executive Meeting Minutes, February 18, 2026 approved as amended
by common consent.
Old Business: Received update on new PST Testing Program. Positive results.
Reviewed Academy dates for candidates.
Motion to Enter Executive Session: At 3:55 PM, Commissioner Borello motioned to go into
Executive Session for the purpose of discussion, pursuant to Section 2c(1) of the Open
Meetings Act, the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or
dismissal of speci c employees. 3 Yeas; 0 Nays. Motion carried.
Commissioner Borello moved to go back into Open Session at 4:22 PM.
New Business: Commissioner Taylor moved to not move candidate #2055 forward in the
hiring process. 3 Yeas; 0 Nays. Motion carried.
Commissioner Borello moved to not move candidate #2048 forward in
the hiring process. 3 Yeas; 0 Nays. Motion carried.
The next regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 3:30PM in the Glen Ellyn
Police Department Community Room.
Commissioner Meyers moved to adjourn the meeting at 4:25 PM. 3 Yeas; 0 Nays. Motion
carried.
