FY2023 Budget Recommendation for the West Side Corridor Improvement Authority. Verah Narh-Kamara presented the proposed FY23 budget to the board and reminded them the revenue projections are preliminary. Commissioner Jon O'Connor added that the board will be able to make changes to the budget after a recommendation. He noted this will be the first agreement for the Westside CIA with private development. He added that there are 4 parcels for the entire project but only one parcel is in the Westside Development Area. Brent Gibson, with Construction Simplified, introduced himself and highlighted some specifics on the project. Dave Shaffer wanted to know if there is an option for the CIA to opt-out of the project. Mr. Klooster explained that the option is no longer available to the CIA and explained this will be a mutual agreement for both parties. Mr. Klooster also noted that this project will be fully administered by the Economic Development office. Tyler with Mierra Shoes was present, and he shared some details about the camera installation project.
