Brown County Supervisor Dan Theno is requesting resources to conduct a comprehensive study of the previously identified catalogued and non-catalogued burial sites to unequivocally establish the burial sites borders. He expects completion early in 2026 We recommend the City reach out to the County and formalize a committee with representatives from the City and County along with representatives from Schmitt Park and other interested community members. This Committee would evaluate options for recognizing, preserving & protecting this plot of land. Kathy A.
